Job Description

Job Title: Backend Developer (Node JS)

Location: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

Experience: 4 to 7 years

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications.
• Work with SQL databases, ensuring efficient data storage, retrieval, and optimization.
• Utilize ORM frameworks (such as TypeORM or Sequelize) for database interactions.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high scalability.
• Implement security best practices to protect data and prevent vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Conduct code reviews, write unit and integration tests, and ensure code quality.
• Stay updated with the latest Node.js, TypeScript, and database technologies.

• Required Skills:
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Expertise in ORM frameworks like TypeORM, Sequelize, or Prisma.
• Experience with API development and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, GitHub/GitLab).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Any Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
