Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The MEP Technician will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and efficient operation
of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across multiple Dmart Pizza Store
(QSR) locations. The role requires timely response to maintenance requests, ensuring
minimal disruption to store operations and customer service.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC units, electrical systems,
kitchen equipment (e.g., fryers, ovens, refrigerators), and plumbing fixtures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve MEP-related issues with minimal downtime to restaurant
operations.
- Carry out scheduled inspections and routine maintenance to ensure all stores remain
compliant with health, safety, and brand standards.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls from stores within assigned area.
- Ensure functionality and energy efficiency of refrigeration and cold storage systems.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors or contractors when needed for specialized
repairs.
- Maintain accurate logs of work performed, spare parts used, and system performance.
- Recommend upgrades, replacements, or improvements to MEP systems to enhance
operational efficiency.
- Ensure all work complies and QSR brand standards.
Preferred candidate profile
Diploma or ITI certification in Mechanical, Electrical,
4 years to 8 years of experience in MEP maintenance, preferably in the hospitality or
QSR/retail sector.
Hands-on experience with commercial kitchen equipment maintenance is highly
desirable.
