Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer specializing in Vue.js to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a technical leader who can design, build, and optimize high-performance web applications while mentoring junior developers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient front-end solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of scalable web applications using Vue.js (Vue 2 and Vue 3) and modern JavaScript frameworks
- Architect, build, and maintain reusable components using Vue.js, including Composition API, Vuex, Pinia, and Nuxt 3
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create responsive, high-quality user interfaces
- Review pull requests to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
- Mentor and support junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning
- Optimize application performance for fast load times and seamless user experiences
- Implement and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code reliability
- Develop and maintain reusable UI components and libraries using Storybook
- Stay current with the latest Vue.js and frontend technologies to provide technical guidance
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on Vue.js (Vue 2 & Vue 3)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, SCSS, and advanced JavaScript (ES6+)
- Hands-on experience with Vuex, Pinia, Composition API, and Nuxt 3
- Strong understanding of component-driven development and state management
- Experience writing test cases and using testing frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking
- Strong code review and optimization abilities
- Effective communication and mentorship skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with modern build tools like Vite and Webpack
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and GraphQL
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Contribution to open-source projects or active participation in the Vue.js community
