Job Description
Job Title: Selenium Automation Test Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time
Department: Senior Quality Assurance
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong background in Selenium automation and a working knowledge of Katalon Studio as an added advantage. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation test scripts and ensuring high-quality software releases.
Key Skills & Expertise:
1. Automation Testing: Proficient in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reusable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver.
2. Programming Languages: Strong coding skills in Java, with clean and maintainable code practices.
3. Frameworks & Tools: Hands-on experience with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, Maven/Gradle, and BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
4. CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
5. Version Control: Proficient in using Git for source code management and version control in collaborative environments
6. Bug Tracking & Test Management: Familiar with JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar tools for defect tracking and test case management.
7. API Testing: Solid understanding and hands-on experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI.
8. Database Validation: Competent in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and backend testing.
9. Cross-Browser Testing: Skilled in performing cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
10.Agile Methodologies: Adept at working in Agile/Scrum environments with continuous delivery and iterative development.
11.Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
12.Maintain test documentation and contribute to test strategy improvements.
Good to Have: -
1. Experience using Katalon Studio for test automation.
Requirements:
1. 3+years of experience in automation testing using Selenium.
2. Proficient in Java/Python/C# and automation frameworks.
3. Familiar with tools like Maven, Git, Jenkins, JIRA, cucumber
4. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software QA best practices.
5. Experience with SQL and API testing is a plus
6. Experience in performance testing tools like JMeter.
