Job Description
- Strong knowledge of .NET and C#
- Proficiency with AWS services and cloud technologies
- Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, SharePoint, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
Overall Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Delivery Management:
- Oversee the delivery management process for multiple initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of developers, quality engineers, business analysts, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment between technology solutions and business objectives.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Implement and uphold governance policies, standards, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Technical Oversight:
- Provide guidance on architecture, design, and technology solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement strategies to enhance delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Financial Management:
- Oversee project budgets, reporting on financial performance and optimizing resource allocation.
- Risk Management:
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks and dependencies that may impact project delivery.
- Performance Metrics:
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure project success and customer satisfaction.
Technical Skills:
Essential:
- .NET and C# Development:
- Strong programming skills and experience in .NET and C#
- AWS Cloud Technologies:
- Proficiency in AWS services and cloud-based solutions
- Project Management:
- Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, SharePoint, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI
Preferred:
- Continuous Integration and DevOps:
- Experience in Continuous Integration (CI) processes and best practices
- Software Development and Architecture:
- Background in software development and architecture
- Release Management:
- Familiarity with release management and logistics around software rollouts
Experience:
- 15 to 20 years of experience in managing IT projects within a technology organization, particularly with .NET, C#, and AWS
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and global stakeholders
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Oversee and manage the delivery of multiple technology projects
- Lead and mentor team members, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Implement and enforce governance policies, standards, and procedures
- Provide technical guidance on architecture, design, and technology solutions
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance delivery efficiency
- Manage project budgets and financial performance
- Identify and mitigate project risks and dependencies
- Monitor and report on project performance metrics and customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience in managing IT projects within a technology organization, particularly with .NET, C#, and AWS
Soft Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and present findings to senior leadership
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
