Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. In this role, youll play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. From building user-friendly custom apps to automating processes and creating meaningful data visualizations, your work will directly impact how our teams and clients operate more efficiently.
Youll collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and transform them into practical, scalable solutions.
Responsibilities:
Power Apps Development:
- Design, develop, and deploy custom Canvas and Model-driven apps.
- Build responsive, intuitive user interfaces with performance in mind.
- Integrate apps with data sources like Dataverse, SharePoint, SQL Server, and others.
- Implement custom connectors or APIs when needed.
- Ensure apps are secure and comply with internal policies.
- Troubleshoot and enhance existing Power Apps solutions.
- Document the architecture, logic, and changes made to apps.
Power Automate Development:
- Build automated, instant, and scheduled flows for various business needs.
- Integrate flows with Power Apps, Power BI, and external systems.
- Implement logic, conditions, and error handling in flows.
- Monitor and improve flow performance.
- Maintain existing flows and resolve issues as they arise.
Power BI Development:
- Design dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Connect to various data sources and model data efficiently.
- Use Power Query (M) and DAX to transform data and create KPIs.
- Ensure data accuracy, performance, and security in reports.
- Collaborate with data teams to improve data quality.
- Troubleshoot and update existing Power BI assets as needed.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work directly with business users, analysts, and developers to gather requirements.
- Translate business processes into working applications and flows.
- Communicate progress and challenges effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in project discussions and contribute technical insight.
Best Practices & Learning:
- Follow coding and design standards for all Power Platform components.
- Stay current with updates and new capabilities in Microsoft Power Platform.
- Suggest ways to improve business processes using platform features.
- Engage in ongoing training and skill development.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Strong grasp of Power Platform and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
- Solid knowledge of UI/UX principles for app development.
- Experience building and managing Power Automate workflows.
- Proficient in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling for Power BI.
- Familiar with connecting multiple data sources.
- Experience with Microsoft Dataverse, SharePoint Online.
- Understanding of Power Platform security and governance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Custom connector development.
- JavaScript or other front-end technologies for customization.
- Knowledge of Azure services and integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform.
- Experience embedding Power BI visuals in apps.
- SQL and database management basics.
