Job Summary
We are hiring experienced Java Full Stack Developers to join our development team. You will be responsible for building high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software that complies with coding standards and technical design. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both Java-based backend development and Angular-based front-end development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and Angular
- Build reusable, efficient, and reliable code
- Implement microservices using Spring Boot and integrate with messaging queues (Kafka/IBM MQ)
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and other developers
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and architecture decisions
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Maintain code documentation and follow agile methodologies (Scrum)
Required Skills & Experience
Must-Have Technical Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Full Stack Development
- Strong knowledge of Core Java (Java 8/11/17) and Spring Boot
- Experience with Microservices Architecture and RESTful APIs
- Hands-on experience with Angular 8+ (preferably Angular 11 or higher)
- Experience with messaging queues like Kafka or IBM MQ
- Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL or Oracle databases
- Solid understanding of OOPs concepts, Data Structures, and Algorithms
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Development Practices:
- Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies (Scrum)
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git)
Good to Have
- Experience with Docker and containerized deployments
- Exposure to Ruby on Rails (legacy codebase)
- Prior work in financial services or securities domain
- Familiarity with architectural patterns and enterprise-grade applications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
