Desired Skills

Completed degree in engineering with a focus on mechatronics/computer science or comparable experience in the field of vehicle development, preferably in software development for vehicle functions.
Strong knowledge of agile development methods
Experience in the field of product safety, e.g. ISO 26262, ISO 21448, for example worked as a project safety manager or safety engineer in the context of development projects.
Experience with ALM/software management tools
Experience in complete automotive software development lifecycle
Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary and international project teams
Knowledge of development processes, also in connection with ASPICE software development, is desirable
Good knowledge C++ , MISRA compliance, SW Architecture
Proficient in German and English

Job Responsibilities

Lead the team technically, provide solutions and manage project deliverables.
Global responsibility for the introduction and implementation of ISO 26262, ISO 21448 & ASPICE.
Reviews of Functional Safety, SOTIF and ASPICE work products in terms of an independent review body.
Implementation/moderation of functional safety assessments and functional safety audits with the various partners in the development projects
Methodical anchoring of the requirements of ISO 26262, ISO21448 in the development processes
Creation / maintenance of training documents and implementation of training courses on functional safety & SOTIF at national and international level
Work together with the functional safety and system engineers to ensure ISO 21448 (SOTIF) standard is implemented
Creation of tools, templates, processes & methods to carry out Functional safety and SOTIF activities.
Organization and management of working groups/ expert groups
Implementation/moderation of ASPICE assessments of the SW development projects
Responsible for mentoring and overseeing the activities of the assigned team with an aim to improve the overall competency of the CoC FuSa team technically and align with management strategy

B.Tech/M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Computer Science Engineering
Min 5 years of relevant Expertise in Functional Safety ISO26262 & SOTIF ISO21448.
