Job Description
We are looking for a Business Analyst with strong expertise in the hospitality and restaurant industry to work on-site with our client. In this role, you will act as a key liaison between the client and our internal teams, ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood and translated into effective solutions. Additionally, you will take on the role of Product Owner, ensuring that project goals align with the client s objectives and are delivered successfully.
Key Responsibilities: - Client Engagement: Serve as the primary contact at the client site, understanding their business needs and maintaining strong relationships.
- Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis, gather requirements, and document user stories specific to the hospitality and restaurant sectors.
- Product Ownership: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with the client s strategic goals.
- Requirements Management: Translate business needs into clear, detailed specifications and collaborate with design and development teams for smooth delivery.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to the client and internal teams on project progress, challenges, and risks.
- Solution Design & Validation: Assist in the design and validation of the solution, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and best practices.
Work with the client to conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure the solution meets their needs.
- Training & Support: Assist the client s team with training and ensure a smooth transition to the new solution.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in a relevant field; Master s degree is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
- Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and client management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Preferred: CBAP, CSPO certifications, and familiarity with hospitality technology solutions. Experience with business analysis tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and prototyping tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Axure)
