Job Description
Role & responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Monitor cash flow, accounts receivable/payable, and general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations.
- Handle revenue reconciliation and vendor reconciliation.
- Manage statutory compliance, including GST and TDS.
- Maintain documentation related to invoicing and financial processes.
- Generate and manage reports, including MIS reports, budget forecasts, revenue projections, and expense projections.
- Respond to client emails within the stipulated turnaround time.
- Use Tally ERP9 for financial management and reporting.
- Work with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data analysis, documentation, and presentations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
- Assist in implementing financial systems, processes, and controls.
- Liaise with banks, auditors, tax consultants, and other financial institutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Masters degree or CPA/CMA is a plus).
- 25 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial regulations.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
