We are looking for an experienced and proactive PHP WordPress Developer to join our fast-growing digital team. The ideal candidate must be confident in developing and customizing WordPress websites, plugins (including WooCommerce and GamiPress), and have a solid grasp of front-end technologies. If you re passionate about clean code, performance optimization, and have an interest in AI-based tools like ChatGPT, CursorAI, GitHub Copilot, etc, to speed up development and improve code quality. , we d love to meet you. Key Responsibilities: Develop, customize, and maintain high-performance websites using Core PHP and WordPress. Customize and extend WooCommerce functionality for eCommerce needs. Implement and customize GamiPress to add gamification elements like badges, achievements, and leaderboards. Update, troubleshoot, and maintain custom or third-party WordPress plugins. Build responsive and interactive UI using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+). Integrate and manage REST APIs to connect third-party services and tools. Collaborate with UI/UX designers for visually appealing and functional designs. Ensure site security, speed, and scalability. Use Git for version control and follow coding standards. Experiment with or implement AI tools/APIs (e.g., content generation, chatbots, analytics) to enhance user experience. Required Skills: Having at least 2 year of relevant experience. Strong proficiency in Core PHP and WordPress development. Solid experience in customizing WordPress themes and plugins. Hands-on experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce functionality. Experience working with and customizing GamiPress plugin is a must. Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+). Experience with REST API integrations. Familiarity with Git for source control. Strong debugging, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility skills. Curiosity or exposure to AI-based tools/APIs is a big plus. Strong prompt-writing skills to efficiently leverage AI in development. Nice to Have: Familiarity with page builders like Elementor or Gutenberg. Understanding of SEO best practices. Experience in setting up staging environments and CI/CD workflows.
