Job Description
Mobile App Architect
Experience: 10 to 15yrs
Experienced Mobile App Architect with deep expertise in hybrid mobile app frameworks and a strong background in delivering cross-platform mobile applications. Play a critical role in architecting scalable, high-performing mobile solutions using Ionic, Angular, and Capacitor/Cordova, while ensuring seamless deployment on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. This is a customer-facing and cross-functional role that involves working closely with stakeholders, designers, developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect end-to-end mobile application solutions using Ionic Framework with Angular, Capacitor, and Cordova.
- Lead the development and deployment of Android and iOS apps with consistent performance and UI/UX quality.
- Collaborate with backend teams to define APIs and system architecture.
- Guide CI/CD setup and automation for mobile builds and releases.
- Oversee Play Store and App Store submissions, updates, and maintenance.
- Ensure apps are secure, maintainable, and meet performance standards.
- Act as the technical point of contact in customer interactions, understanding requirements and delivering solutions.
- Lead code reviews, establish best practices, and mentor development teams.
- Stay updated with the latest mobile technologies and trends.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mobile Architect or Senior Mobile Developer.
- Strong hands-on experience with Ionic, Angular, Cordova and Capacitor.
- Proficient in JavaScript (and optionally TypeScript).
- Understanding of mobile ecosystems: Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
- Experience in CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
- Expertise in App Store and Play Store deployment and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a customer-facing or client consulting role.
- Experience in Ionic 1.3 and AngularJs(1.5) would be an added advantage.
