Automation Test Engineer @ Infogain

Job Description

We are seeking a talented Playwright Automation Engineer to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript, ensuring high-quality software through expertise in software testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript for web applications.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
• Apply expertise in software testing methodologies (e.g., functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing) to ensure robust test coverage.
• Maintain and enhance automation frameworks to support scalable and reusable test suites.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Document test cases, automation processes, and report on test coverage and quality metrics.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in test automation and Playwright.
