Job Description
=> Deliver high quality, defect-free solutions
=> Actively participate in backlog refinement, estimation sessions and daily standups.
=> Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
=> Prepare documentations and specifications
=> Design database and structures.
=> Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using PL/pgSQL
=> Writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications.
=> Maintaining data quality and overseeing database security.
=> Review and interpret ongoing business requirements
=> Research required data
=> Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
=> Basic DBA activities needed for the project.
Key Skills
=> PostgreSQL(must) + Scripting Developer
=> PL/pgSQL (must)
=> Performance Tuning and Optimization (must)
=> Knowledge of database design principles, index management, integrity checks, statistics and isolation levels (must)
=> PgAgent (must)
=> Prometheus/Grafana (Good to have)
=> PgBouncer (Good to have)
=> Postgres Backup & Recovery (Good to have)
=> Postgres HA & DR (Good to have)
=> PG_Repack (optional)
=> MS SQL Server (optional)
=> Cassandra (optional)
Note: Candidate should be willing to relocate to Ahmedabad.
