Managing research partners with areas of mutual interest for collaboration projects that are strategic in nature in close collaboration with local business unit and R&D Headquarter. 2. Develop and manage collaboration projects with academic/non-academic external/internal partners and work closely with them. 3. Prepare and write scientific papers and case studies together with external/internal partners to ensure the work has impact in the scientific community. 4. Demonstrate purpose, process and results of collaboration projects as requested, internally and externally. 5. Offer research related cases and feedback based on HQ request, explore and align research possibilities from Indian context to HQ.
Product Development: 1. Be a liaison between R&D colleagues and doctors, collaboration team and support any product related queries or concerns. 2. Educate R&D and Applications colleagues with knowledge gained from the collaboration partners to improve/enhance MR products. 3. Support to liaise with the other medical imaging departments in Siemens Healthineers. 4. Participate and Support R&D colleagues in innovation and ID drives and submit ID s jointly/individually. 5. Offer help and advice to R&D colleagues on topics related to MR imaging and to help meet customer requirements.
Qualifications and experience: PhD or MD in Clinical medicine/ Medical Imaging/ Medical physics. Strong background in MR physics, pulse sequence design, MR imaging techniques and applications with a focus on quantitative MR imaging. Experience in working with internal and external partners. Experience in C++/C software design, implementation, and coding. Experience using Matlab for signal and image processing. Basic Medical knowledge is a clear plus for collaboration scientist with non-Medical background. Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken is essential. Experience publishing and presenting scientific work to the Medical community. Positive attitude, hard-working, and open-minded and capability for self-learning is highly regarded, as well as willingness and availability to travel. Prior experience working on Siemens MR systems in pulse sequence design and image reconstruction is highly preferred. Read More
