Job Description
MEP engineers are responsible for analyzing plans and performing inspections, as well as providing input on the installation process and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. This involves ensuring equipment meets all building codes and safety regulations, and that necessary modifications are implemented.
To coordinate all MEP-related activities at project sites and day-to-day operation.
Complete Electrical, Plumbing, sanitary, drainage, sewage, HVAC , Fire, LV, BMS etc.
designing, checking and finalization of drawings and BOQS, preparation and finalization of
specifications, estimates
Coordinate with all the MEP consultant regarding cost effective design && to make sure proper
design coordination is achieved before the commencement of work
Coordinating with Architects/Consultant for MEP drawings && BOQs
Preparing timelines/ work schedules for MEP works in coordination with planning dept
To Guide and advise on all electrical /mechanical equipment as per our drawing and
consultants advise at Constriction && commission stage
To give guidance to contractors and subordinates and make sure work quality is as per our
requirement
To ensure checking of the electrical/mechanical, plumbing drawing, specs, brand quality.
Earthling, lightning arresters, etc and give guidelines to contractors site engineers, and
Supervisors from time to time
To be responsible for Installation and commissioning of specialized Item of works like central
A.C. Plant, AHU, FCU, Chilled water, condenser piping, cooling tower, and piping insulation.
To be responsible for commissioning the total water supply, drainage, hydro-pneumatic
system, ,STP, firefighting system, sprinkler, fire pumps etc
To supervise the workmanship of work carried out, highlight conflict areas and resolve the
issue in consultation with the Site Team.
To Certify Work executed Quantities && to Conduct Random checks to certify the quality of the
material.
To check the RA bill, final bill quality, and quantity inspection site measurement as per the
tender and to make BOM.
To ensure rechecking of the final shop drawing prepared by contractors along with operation
manual and handing over to Facility Management (FM) department.
To give support to the FM department for work related to MEP as and when required
Co-coordinating with Liaising for Infrastructure Electrification Statutory and Liaising work
Have experience in Building electrical / High rise electrical System
Have experience in Factory projects MEP execution work.
Quality checks.
Handing over all MEP installation to operations.
