TECHNICAL EXPERT COLLIBRA DATA GOVERNANCE SHARED SERVICES

DESCRIPTION:

The Collibra technical expert will play an active role in learning the Schneider Electric Big Data and Analytics environment and will contribute to the Schneider Digital initiatives for enhancing, automating and accelerating implementation of master data management, adoption of big data platforms, data quality, excellence and data dictionary evolution, data security and eventually the business intelligence and analytics that is built on top of these platforms to derive insights that drive strategic decisions across corporate functions.

Job Overview:

As a Data Governance Consultant, you will participate in all aspects of the Data Governance such as Metadata Management, Business Glossary, and Data quality and develop processes and platforms that will assist in business translation of technical data usage. The consultant will have the ability to interact with business who is strongly relying on their line of business data and will understand their requirements to build Data Governance portfolio.

Responsibilities:

- Work experience / exposure in Data /Metadata management / data governance

- Understand the current business and data landscape

- Meta Data Management using tool Collibra DGC Business Process Management workflows in Collibra

- Understand the current and future state of business requirements and tool/platform capabilities and help in integrating Collibra with other relevant solutions/tools.

- Work collaboratively to design and develop solution as per project needs and to lead these topics

- Maintain appropriate documentation, traceability, and configurations

- Execute tasks in all phases of the project development lifecycle

- Works with the Team Leader to obtain user acceptance on the overall solution

Technology Skills:

- 3 to 4 + years hands-on experience in Data Governance roles

- Strong knowledge of technologies and process pertaining to data quality, experience on configuration of metadata and data governance tool such as Collibra

- Strong knowledge of database and data warehousing concepts (SQL, AWS exposure, etc.) and experience in using JDBC connectors for integration will be a good to have skillset.

- Awareness about ETL tools like Informatica, DataStage etc.

- Experience in ticketing tools like JIRA

- Good knowledge of the software development life cycle.

- Good programming experience in Python programming language

- Exposure to Rest API, Java Core API

- Knowledge in visualization and analytics using tools such a Tableau, Basic ETL etc. is a plus

Business / Soft Skills:

- Must have solid presentation, communication and inter-personal skills.

- Ability to work effectively with globally dispersed stakeholders from business.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- A data-driven mindset.

Education:
