Job Title- Modern Trade Head Candidates from- FMCG/ Cosmetics industry are preferred Job Summary: As a Modern Trade Head, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize sales, profitability, and market share for Dot and Key and fuel its retail expansion. You will lead a team and collaborate with various departments to ensure the successful penetration, expansion, and management of relationships with key modern trade partners. Key Responsibilities: Modern Trade Strategy: Develop and implement the company's modern trade strategy to achieve sales and profit targets, ensuring alignment with. overall business objectives. Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies, assortment planning, pricing, and promotional activities within the modern trade segment. Key Account Management: Manage and nurture relationships with key modern trade accounts, negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring the execution of agreements and promotions. Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the performance of modern trade operations and make data-driven decisions. Team Leadership: Build, grow and mentor a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet sales targets and are well-equipped to engage with modern trade partners. Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities and threats in the modern trade segment. Supply Chain Management: Collaborate with the supply chain team to ensure timely and efficient product distribution, availability, and inventory management in modern trade channels. Promotions and Merchandising: Plan and execute promotional activities and merchandising initiatives to enhance product visibility and consumer engagement in modern trade outlets. Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for the modern trade segment, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve set goals. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, product development, and finance teams to align strategies and objectives for the modern trade channel. Reporting: Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance and progress of the modern trade segment, highlighting successes and areas for improvement. Desired Candidate Profile: Experienced Professional with 10+ years experience, at least 7 years exposure to Modern Trade format from FMCG background (Beauty & Personal Care preferred) Strong leadership and team management skills. proven work experience as a National level or senior management role. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Analytical skills for data-driven decision-making. Planning skills, Time management, Product knowledge Knowledge of modern trade industry trends and best practices. Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and market requirements. A Modern Trade Head plays a crucial role in ensuring a company's products are well-represented in modern trade channels, contributing to the company's overall growth and success
