Position Overview Job Title: Cloud Engineer Location: Pune Role Description As a senior GCP DevOps Engineer, you will work within a team of Engineers and Operations personnel building highly resilient, scalable and performant GCP solution in an automated and efficient manner. Youll be instrumental in helping our engineering teams to migrate application faster to Cloud by identifying opportunities to automate. Perform and automate engineering activities to implement patches provided by the vendor product team. Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security. Ensure compliance with Operational risk standards (e.g., Network, Firewall, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency) Update support and operational documentation as required. Integrate, configure, and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g., IAM, networking, logging, Monitoring, Containers, GCE) Fault findings and support Applications teams Ensure good change management practice is implemented as specified by central standards. Provide impact assessments as requested for changes proposed on GCP core platform Your Skills And Experience Hands-on Unix shell scripting is required. Hands-on experience with terraform. Ability to write reusable terraform modules. Strong understanding on setting up of GCP CI/CD pipelines on GCE-MIG & container orchestration platforms such as GKE using GitHub, Terraform, Artifactory, Docker registry. Highly experienced in the following technologies: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Compute Engine, Kubernetes, Cloud Storage, Networking, IAM, Monitoring, Logging firewall rules, GitHub, Terraform, UNIX and Power-shell Scripting, JIRA, etc. Experience using Docker within container orchestration platforms such as GKE.
