Job Description
Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong understanding of DevOps practices and containerization technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing software development projects, working closely with DevOps teams, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions in a CI/CD and containerized environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle in a DevOps environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, operations, QA, and security.
- Monitor project progress, mitigate risks, and resolve issues promptly.
- Implement and advocate for DevOps best practices across the team.
- Manage infrastructure provisioning, release planning, and deployment cycles in containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Prepare and present regular status reports to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of overall experience in IT Project Management.
- Hands-on understanding of DevOps methodologies and tools (Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).
- Exposure to containerization tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification in PMP, CSM, or equivalent is a plus.
- Prior experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
