Job Description

Magicbricks is looking for Database Engineer to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Database Design : Design and plan database structures, including tables, indexes, relationships, and schemas, to meet business requirements efficiently. Database Development : Develop and implement database applications, scripts, and queries using database management systems (DBMS) such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Data Modeling : Create and maintain data models to represent the structure and relationships of data entities within the organization. Data Migration : Plan and execute data migration projects to transfer data between systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity during the process. Performance Tuning : Monitor and optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and resource allocation adjustments. Security : Implement security measures to protect sensitive data, including access control, encryption, and security patches. Backup and Recovery : Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data availability and minimize downtime in case of system failures. Monitoring and Maintenance : Continuously monitor database health, automate routine maintenance tasks, and resolve issues as they arise.
