Job Description
- Key Responsibilities
- Automation and Scripting: Assist in automation tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell (AS1).Develop simple scripts to streamline repetitive tasks.
- CI/CD Processes: Support basic Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes (AS2).Assist in creating and maintaining pipelines.
- System Administration: Work with basic Linux systems and networking concepts (DOTS1, DOTS2).Use Git for version control and collaboration (DOTS3).
- Development and Deployment: Develop basic code using available frameworks to support infrastructure needs (DOTS4).Assist in deploying servers and maintaining configurations (DOTS5).Work with Docker to containerize applications and services (DOTS6).
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor systems and interpret logs to identify potential issues (DOTS7).Systematically diagnose and resolve basic infrastructure or application issues (PS1).
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to support infrastructure needs (CO1).Communicate technical information clearly and concisely (SS1).
- Task Management and Learning: Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines (TM1).Learn new tools and technologies quickly (AD1).Take initiative to improve systems and processes (AM1).
- Build foundational skills in scripting and automation.
- Enhance understanding of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management.
- Develop proficiency in system monitoring and interpreting logs. Professional Skills:
- Improve collaboration and communication skills with various teams.
- Learn and apply new tools and technologies to enhance efficiency.
