Job Description
The Microsoft Dynamics Project Manager (MSD PM) is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects related to Microsoft Dynamics implementations, upgrades, or customizations. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and technical experts to ensure project objectives are met within scope, time, and budget.
- Project Planning & Execution
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to project methodologies, best practices, and governance standards.
- Monitor project progress and address risks, issues, or deviations from the plan.
- Team Coordination & Leadership
- Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and consultants, to achieve project goals.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, team members, and vendors.
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide project updates to stakeholders.
- Microsoft Dynamics Expertise
- Oversee Microsoft Dynamics (D365) implementation, migration, or customization projects.
- Ensure proper integration of Dynamics with other systems and tools as required.
- Collaborate with technical teams to define and validate solution designs.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Gather and document business requirements in alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure satisfaction with project deliverables.
- Provide training, support, and documentation for end-users when required.
- Risk Management & Quality Assurance
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and project objectives.
- Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience:
- 7+ years of experience managing IT projects, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Proven track record of successful Dynamics implementations or upgrades.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 architecture and modules (e.g., Sales, Customer Service, Field Service).
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of integration tools and methodologies for connecting Dynamics with other systems.
- Certifications (Preferred):
- Microsoft Dynamics certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Fundamentals, Dynamics Functional Consultant).
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification.
