Shift -24/7 shift

Work location Pune

Extensive experience managing RedHat, SLES, CentOS, Ubuntu OS in enterprise environments.

Strong hands on experience in Patching .
Proficiency in coordinating patch deployments and troubleshooting vulnerabilities on Linux servers.
Experience with Ansible AWX for configuration management tasks.
Experience with other automation tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Typically has 5- 8 years of IT and business/industry work experience working as Linux support engineer or similar role with hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure on the Azure platform.
Previous experience working in a large-scale, enterprise environment providing operational support by building, configuring, and managing Virtual servers
Excellent verbal and written communications
Ability to track and administer several tasks concurrently
Strong change management and ITIL background

Relevant certifications in Linux administration are preferred.

Skills: Good to Have Experience working within an enterprise ticketing system - incidents, requests, change control - preferably Service-Now

Experienced Linux Server Patching Engineer with a strong background in managing and maintaining RedHat, SLES, CentOS, and Ubuntu operating systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating, deploying, and troubleshooting patches and vulnerabilities on Linux servers while ensuring adherence to best practices in vulnerability management. Key Coordinate, deploy, and troubleshoot patches and vulnerabilities on Linux servers running RedHat, SLES, CentOS, and Ubuntu operating systems. Possess a good understanding of vulnerability management practices and familiarity with CVE scoring to prioritize patch deployments effectively.
