Job Description
- Area of Manufacturing Inventory Cost Accounting focus.
- Drive the monthly close & cost accounting process of the product cost of the business.
- Experience into Cost of goods sold/Cost of sales.
- Knowledge in Inventory valuations, Pre & Post close analysis.
- Prepare monthly accruals & journal entries related to Inventory & COGS.
- Perform Inventory reconciliations and determine root cause for each significant variance.
- Knowledge in Inventory accruals, PPV, Standard cost revaluations etc.
- Perform Balance sheet reconciliations during closing and upload into Blackline.
- Maintain Internal controls and account reconciliation for Inventory & COGS.
- Perform quarterly Standard cost rolls in SAP.
- Perform & coordinate quarterly count of Physical Inventory.
- Assist in gathering and preparation of financial and SOX audit documentation.
- Work closely with FP&A manufacturing and operations department.
- Undertake SAP system testing (UATs), execute and project manage as needed.
Your Experience
- A qualified CMA/CA with overall 5+ years of experience in Finance
- Proving experience into Inventory & Cost accounting preferably in manufacturing environment.
- Product costing & pricing.
- Hands-on experience in SAP S4 HANA and Tableau.
- Flexible to work in PST hours during quarter ends or as per the business requirement
- Ability to navigate extremely well within MS Excel and work with large amounts of financial and Manufacturing inventory data
- Ability to multi-task, stay organized and prioritize deadlines in fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Analytical mind-set to approaching problems and strong attention to detail
- Promotes teamwork and works well with others
- Energetic, positive attitude and always looking for ways to improve
