JD details:

• Expert-level Java development skills
• Deep understanding of SQL dialects (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake) and experience building or extending SQL transpilation engines.
• Skilled in designing versioned APIs, managing backward compatibility, and enforcing data contracts.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to drive alignment across product, design, and engineering.
• Strong proficiency in data structures and algorithm design, with the ability to model complex data relationships and optimize query-building logic.
• Experience in dynamic schema interpretation and SQL generation, including constructing type-aware search filters and translating them into efficient, valid SQL predicates.

Nice to have:

• Proficient in designing and maintaining GraphQL APIs, including schema stitching, query optimization, and resolver design.
• Strong data modeling skills across relational and semi-structured data; able to define normalized and denormalized schemas based on use case.
• Familiarity with query planning and optimization techniques, especially in federated or heterogeneous data systems.
