Job Description
Position Title: Technical Lead Integration & Application Development
Experience Required: 6 to 7 years
Location: Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-time
Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead with 67 years of hands-on expertise in Apache Camel, Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful web services. The ideal candidate should be a strong individual contributor capable of working independently with minimal supervision. This role involves leading integration initiatives, developing scalable microservices, and supporting web-based applications in a Workforce Management Solution environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and system integrations using Apache Camel, Spring Boot, Java, and JPA.
- Develop and maintain application logic and business workflows that connect disparate systems.
- Ensure high-quality coding practices through adherence to standards and thorough unit testing.
- Provide technical guidance and consultation to product managers and development team members.
- Communicate effectively on project status, risks, and solutions across technical and non-technical teams.
- Create technical and non-technical documentation including specifications and process flows.
- Ensure performance, reliability, scalability, and security in solution design and implementation.
- Maintain version control and manage codebase using Git.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile (preferably SAFe) environment.
- Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.
Required Technical Skills:
- Java (8 or higher), Java Enterprise Edition (JEE)
- Apache Camel (including Camel component development)
- Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA, Hibernate
- RESTful Web Services
- Microservices Architecture
- Maven, Groovy
- SQL MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- MongoDB, Apache Drill
- JUnit or other unit testing frameworks
- Azure App Services
- Web/Application Servers: Apache Tomcat
- IDEs: Eclipse, Spring Tool Suite (STS)
- Source Control: Git
Preferred Skills:
- Angular 8 (or higher)
- Experience working with PostgreSQL
- Exposure to SAFe Agile or Scrum methodologies
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments
