Position Description:
Architecture:
The primary technology focus of this role is telecommunications 4G and 5G network functions and end-to-end solutions. Broad knowledge of topics such as 4G and 5G
telecommunications core networks, service-based architecture, cloud native principals, high-availability, security, networking, scaled agile frameworks, and CI/CD is highly desired.
In this position, you will be creating technology solutions for relevant projects. The role is technical hands-on in nature and involves providing software architectural leadership to
multidisciplinary agile development projects, with an emphasis on architecture, design, and prototyping of communications solutions, components, and tools for deployments in both public and private clouds.
Agile Execution:
You will work as the lead developer leading a team of developers creating well tested high quality software along with associated specifications. You will apply modern agile development & DevOps practices in achieving this.
Competence development:
Based on current and evolving needs of the organization, you will identify the right skills and support competence ramp-up of the organization
Skills required:
Strong foundation in software architecture, design, and coding of complex software systems.
Experience in one or more of the following programming languages: Java, C++, Python, SQL, and C.
Good understanding of cloud architecture and hybrid on-premises / cloud designs.
Strong foundation in software architecture, design, and coding of complex software systems.
An ideal candidate has technical and functional experience in 4G and/or 5G telecommunication core networks.
Familiarity with the 3GPP 5G control plane network functions is a plus.
Thorough knowledge of SQL and NOSQL Database system design including knowledge of formal database architecture and design
Dashboard development, ETL development and implementation.
Experience in Service design
Experience in Architecting complex solutions
Experience in Continuous Integration, Testing & Automation frameworks
Experience in Agile/scrum/DevOps practices
Ability to learn and integrate new technologies in a fast-paced environment
Ability to contribute independently and deliver high quality product
Good communication skills in written and spoken English
Creativity and ability to formulate problems and solve them independently
Applications/Domain-knowledge in 3GPP LTE GPRS, ETSI NFV MANO architectures and IoT, a plus.
