As a Software Engineer III in Securities Services Technology within Corporate & Investment Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm s business objectives.

Job responsibilities:

• Working in Machine Learning and Data Science toolsets
• Work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
• Work on software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
• Lead and own all aspects of the data analytics: requirement analysis and design, solution build and testing, co-ordination with Technology and Operations colleagues, defect / risk management and reporting / release management.
• Collaborate and bridge the gap between both business and technical teams.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• SME skills required: Python, Machine Learning, NLP, AWS, SQL and Oracle expert level
• Expert in MS Office and Excel. Middle-ware (Messaging i.e. EMS/JMS) experience
• Micro-services based Architecture. Experience in statistics, analysis and data mining.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Unit / Integration testing experience. Experience working in cloud based framework
• Understanding of Kubernetes/AWS/Cloud. Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Investment banking experience is good to have
• Experience working on UNIX platform
• Expert Python programmer
