The RealPage Investment Management group is hiring a Product Manager to join our Product Management team delivering best in class SaaS solutions to the real estate industry
You will work alongside team members in Product Management, Engineering, Implementations, Customer Success and other stakeholders to define and execute on the product roadmap, Summary
The Investment Management Product Manager reports to the Director, Product Management with the primary responsibilities of translating the vision for the product into workable requirements, validating and reviewing system changes with stakeholders, and working closely with the Development and QA teams throughout sprint planning to ensure successful execution of initiatives
You will be responsible for the initial requirements gathering and documentation, refinement sessions, management of development / issues backlog, and creation of user stories and acceptance criteria, Primary Responsibilities
Drive requirements gathering activities, including measurable benefits and value-added outcomes in all the following:
Collaborate with product management, and stakeholders, to gather, define and prioritize requirements for the product that will address customer pain points and needs
Define clear, actionable user stories, acceptance criteria, and uses that guide the modeling and development work in building enhancements to address technical debt and refactoring priorities
Work closely with engineering to ensure the technical feasibility and scalability of the enhancements
Champion a user centric approach, working with designers to create intuitive and engaging experiences
Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and validate product performance and outcomes, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations
Plan and coordinate the releases, including user documentation, training materials and support processes
Ensure that product enhancements adhere to RealPage policies for security, privacy and ethical standards
Drive projects and track milestone dates, delivering project updates to leadership
Drive problem management escalation issues to resolution
Meet service level agreement (SLA) for escalated to development tickets
Perform triage issue investigation
Partner with Problem Management to investigate client issue reports
Work in Azure DevOps TFS
Maintain tickets and agile boards
Participate in backlog refinement activities
Track team performance metrics
Be accessible to the technical teams, reviewing work and answering questions
Formally review stories for acceptance, including meeting the customer benefit, acceptance criteria and desired level of quality
Participate and/or present in release demos
Keep meeting notes and follow up on action items
Act as a mentor and provide supervision to more junior team members
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Bachelors degree required in a Computer Science, Data Science, Business or related field (Masters preferred)
3-5+ years of progressive Product Owner/Manager experience with a BI application in commercial B2B SaaS offerings
Strong written communication skills including process and product documentation and demonstrable track record successfully working directly with customer end users, Strong attention to detail required for understanding and documenting methodology and logic as well as reviewing and editing content, Expert level conducting analysis using SQL to create, update and manage data queries in relational databases
Demonstrated knowledge of data governance, data architecture, data modeling, data management, data governance and privacy, data quality, data lineage, ETL, and APIs
Proven project management skills
Business requirements gathering experience, Strong data analysis experience with demonstrated ability to methodically develop solutions for complex problems, Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Communication Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; strong verbal and written communication as well as conflict management skills
Strong ability to navigate complex issues, Analytical Strong analytical and reasoning skills; must be effective at summarizing and communicating complex information, Collaborative proven capability to influence and drive cross-functional teams to the successful execution of plans, Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with only general direction and minimal supervision, Solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively to meet deadlines, Ability to work independently and as part of a team, Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Real Estate experience is preferred but not a requirement, Previous experience working with project management and collaboration tools (SharePoint, Confluence, Salesforce, Azure TFS) is a plus,
