Mainframe Developer | 6+Years @ Aerospace Automation

Job Description

Summary : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mainframe Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe technologies, particularly in IMS and DB2, with proven expertise in both development and enhancement activities. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, IMS, and DB2. Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues in real-time environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation as part of the SDLC process. Ensure system performance, reliability, and scalability through efficient coding practices. Technical Requirements: Strong proficiency in Mainframe Development. In-depth hands-on experience with IMS and DB2. Solid understanding of COBOL, JCL, and other mainframe tools and utilities. Proven ability to deliver development and enhancement projects within deadlines. Experience working in Agile or similar collaborative development environments. Additional Requirements: Demonstrated ability to solve real-time challenges using IMS and DB2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.,
