Role Overview: As a Senior Microsoft Fabric Developer, you will leverage your 10-12 years of experience to architect, develop, and deploy data solutions on Microsoft Fabric
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams, taking ownership of the end-to-end development process, from conceptualization to deployment
- You will also provide leadership and mentoring to junior developers and guide them to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and implementation of solutions using Microsoft Fabric and related technologies.
Architect and implement cloud-based big data solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
Lead the development and optimization of data pipelines, ETL workflows, and real-time data processing systems within Microsoft Fabric.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and define solution specifications.
Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
Guide and mentor junior developers, helping them grow and align with the team s goals.
Perform system troubleshooting, code reviews, performance tuning, and optimization to ensure efficiency and quality.
Ensure that solutions meet security, compliance, and governance standards, particularly in cloud environments.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cloud computing, big data, and Microsoft technologies, integrating new tools and methodologies where appropriate.
Oversee the integration of various data sources and ensure seamless data movement across heterogeneous environments.
Lead the design and development of data models, leveraging the full capabilities of Microsoft Fabric for data warehousing and analytics.
Work in an Agile development environment and collaborate effectively with global teams.
Assist with the creation and maintenance of documentation for system architecture, processes, and operations.
Skills and Qualifications:
10-12 years of hands-on experience in cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and big data platforms.
Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions on Microsoft Fabric or other cloud data platforms (Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, etc.).
Expertise in data engineering, data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time data processing.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and experience with Spark or similar frameworks.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, microservices, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Hands-on experience with cloud services and storage solutions like Azure Blob Storage, Data Lake, and data warehousing.
Familiarity with data security, privacy, and governance standards in cloud environments.
Experience working in Agile or DevOps-based environments and using related tools (Jira, Git, Jenkins).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, remote environment.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to guide a team and provide mentorship.
