Essential Job Functions:
Support security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans, contributing to report generation and action items.
Monitor security events and incidents, escalating as required and assisting in containment.
Assist with the implementation of security policies and standards.
Collaborate with the security team on documentation and process improvement.
Participate in incident response activities, including investigations and reporting.
Stay informed about emerging security threats and best practices.
Contribute to security awareness training efforts.
Seek opportunities for professional development in the security field.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 1+ years in a similar role
Proven experience in information security analysis
Proficiencies in security technologies and risk assessment
A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus
