Job Description

As a Technical Product Management in Community and Consumer Banking, in card lending team, you be part of the innovation through the development of products and features that delight customers. Your role requires deep technological skills including expertise in everything from data management to functional design to working with code it also hinges on teamwork and leadership.

Job responsibilities

• Create and own end-to-end delivery of product features
• Participate and drive design discussions along with engineering and agility leads
• Work with product, business, and application teams to write technical user stories
• Help with task prioritization and manage sprint in partnership with engineering and agility leads and Identify and manage cross-impact dependencies and risks
• Research code to determine current system functionality
• Execute testing of web services using tools like Soap UI/ Ready API to verify that the services meet the acceptance criteria defined in the user stories
• Facilitate communication between the project stakeholders and technology teams and create knowledge artifacts and share/upload them in Confluence for the team s reference

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 10+ years with 5+ years of server-side application/platform development experience using Java, Spring, SOAP, REST, Monolith to Micro services evolution, XML and JSON message formats
• Experience building systems on public Cloud/ AWS and with a mix of SQL/NoSQL Database with demonstrated experience delivering highly scalable big data products
• Well versed with common Agile terms and methodology and using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Understanding of software development processes and procedures along with the ability to understand and review code
• Good verbal and written communication skills along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to forge lasting relationships with across scrum team members
• Masters/Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• 4+ years of development exposure to Retail/Consumer banking and investment products
• Understanding of BDD/TDD and experience writing technical user stories in JIRA using industry standard notations like Gherkins and fluent with modern web technologies and web application frameworks
• Advanced knowledge of business processes and data analysis, as well as the ability to construct complex data queries and collaborate with colleagues
