Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer with a strong background in C++, C#, MFC, SQL, and DCS (Distributed Control Systems). The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and deployment of industrial and control system applications.
This is a work-from-office position requiring hands-on expertise in complex software systems for industrial automation or similar domains.Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications using C++, C#, and MFC frameworks.
- Develop and manage SQL Server databases including writing queries, stored procedures, and performance optimization.
- Design and implement Distributed Control System (DCS) applications or integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, electrical, and systems engineering.
- Maintain and enhance existing software systems by identifying areas for modification and improvement.
- Participate in code reviews, system testing, and debugging.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation for internal and external use.
- Provide technical support for deployed systems and address customer-specific issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of proven software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++, C#, and Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC).
- Deep understanding of relational databases and SQL.
- Hands-on experience with DCS platforms and industrial control systems.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
