Job Summary
We are looking for a full-time employee who will be responsible for planning, estimations, design documents and project plan for various projects as needed. The technical project manager is responsible for coordinating and communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in the project.
The ideal person for this role will have good grasp of Java technologies and should be able to mentor and guide the team on technical aspects.
Required Skills
7+ years of experience in software development experience.
Strong knowledge of Java based technologies. Experience in DB and client-server technologies will be a plus.
Prior experience in leading teams and projects.
Good exposure to all stage of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Technical Scrum Master/Leader role-play experience will be a plus.
Prior experience in preparing project plans, design and requirement specification documents.
Good to have prior experience in creating proposal documents.
Good problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills is a must. Should be able to initiate and undertake independent communication with client-PoCs.
Experienced in Requirement Analysis/Design for a project duration longer than 6-9 months.
Experienced in UAT/Product Testing for a project with minimum project duration of 6-9 months.
Skilled/good awareness of modern project tracking tools/methods e.g. JIRA/Redmine/Trello and is comfortable in creating status dashboard on such tools.
B.Tech or equivalent degree.
Responsibilities
Define the functional and project resourcing requirements for projects.
Prepare effective project plans and track the same by coordinating with customers and the developers to achieve the customers' business objectives.
Create SRS and design documents.
Participate in all required meetings, planning sessions and status reviews.
Provide technical leadership to the development team. Act as a technical stakeholder where development team is continuously needing coordination with the customer.
Own the communication and execution aspects of the project.
Handle execution of multiple projects at once.
Be responsible for all phases of the project including UAT and support
Ensure a continuous update to supervisors/leaders on status of the work-stream
Has an understanding of identifying risks and track the risks objectively
The candidate applying for this position should have technical expertise along with project management experience.Should have experience in stakeholdermanagement.
Should be able to join immediately or within 30 days.
