Job Description

Title : Sr. Backend Developer (NodeJS) Responsibilities : - Integrating user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic - Developing all server-side logic, including data storage to optimize website performance - Integrating third-party libraries and APIs with Node.js projects - Designing and implementing RESTful APIs - Developing high-performance applications by writing testable, reusable, and efficient code. - Implementing effective security protocols, data protection measures, and storage solutions. - Implementing test-driven development and automated testing for Node.js applications to optimise the performance of applications for full-scale production deployments - Make sure that updated security measures are in place to prevent unauthorised entrance - Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents. - Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues and bugs in Node.js applications - Recommending and implementing. improvements to processes and technologies. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and scope - Staying updated with the latest Node.js developments and frameworks Requirements : - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent experience - At least 5+ years of experience with JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js - Hands-on expertise in REST, MySQL/PostgreSQL, WebSocket, MongoDB, Redis, etc. - Integrating third-party libraries and APIs with Node.js projects - Designing and implementing RESTful APIs - Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker and AWS infrastructure - Understanding of data security principles - Proficiency in JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks - Good in-depth understanding of data structures and other computer science fundamentals - Strong analytical and problem-solving aptitude skills - Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Superb interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. - Great organizational and time management skills. - The ability to operate as part of a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams
