Job Description : Mandatory Skills : Python+ SQL+ .Net/Java - Good to have in OOPS, Problem solving, Design Patterns. - Minimum 5 years" experience working in a front office IT development role at a financial institution. - Experience of full software development life cycle - Strong C# with emphasis on multi-threaded GUI and Server development - Strong experience with Python and python libraries (numpy, pandas, etc.) - Experience with design patterns, unit testing, performance/memory analysis, and n-tier architecture - Experience with cloud architecture, AWS, Azure. - Thorough understanding of the principles of OOA/D, data modelling, database design, data structures and algorithms - Strong knowledge of building front-end systems, dapper, nswag, RabbitMQ. - .Net, Python, SQL - Strong database skills (SQL Server) - Highly motivated, analytical thinking individual - Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. and an ability to get along with a wide range of personalities. - Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism and integrity - Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail. - Adaptable to various competing demands while maintaining a high level of client service and response. - Must possess a team-focused attitude with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others. - Knowledge and hands on experience with RabbitMQ, Airflow, Database Engineering techniques, AWS Lambdas, Azure Functions, API driven architecture. - Experience working with debt instruments a plus (including but not limited to bank debt, bonds, equity, and derivative instruments), preferably in a hedge fund, private equity or audit environment. - Knowledge of Credit Fund operating models and underlying components. - Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence applications a plus. - Motivated, self-starter with strong analytical skills, and an ability to grasp new concepts quickly. - Ability and confidence to have intellectual debates and quickly gather requirements and answers. - Strong communication skills both written and oral. - Attention to detail and obsession for finding correct answers. - Team player with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels within the Firm. Experience (Desired) : - Technology experience in hedge funds, specifically ABS/CLOs in the US and Europe; - Experience working with credit derivatives. - Experience building P&L attribution, scenario analysis and reporting systems. - Agile development practices - Strong mathematical skills - Experience with business intelligence tools E.g. Power BI, Alteryx, Tableau - UI Experience with Angular, React etc
