Job Description
Responsibilities (What youll do)
- Monitor, maintain, and support on-premises infrastructure, including servers, storage, network devices, and virtualized environments.
- Deploy, configure, and upgrade systems and applications, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company standards.
- Implement and manage security protocols and practices to protect on-premises infrastructure from potential threats.
- Perform regular updates and patches to keep systems secure and compliant.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Provide support to internal teams and end-users as necessary.
- Keep detailed and accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, procedures, and support incidents.
- Identify opportunities for performance optimization, cost reduction, and improved system reliability. Suggest and implement enhancements where suitable.
- Collaborate closely with DevOps, IT, and Security teams to support hybrid cloud integrations, ensuring seamless and secure operations across all environments.

- 6+ years of experience in managing on-premises infrastructure, including servers, storage, and network equipment
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Ability to handle and resolve incidents efficiently, minimizing downtime and impact on operations
- Strong understanding of network protocols and firewall configurations, load balancers, CDN, ISPs
- Experience with virtualization platforms, any (e.g., VMware, Citrix).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to document processes and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Must have Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Coralogix, NewRelic, LogicMonitor).
- Experience in handling DNS Setup, mail server /mail flow
- Experience in any hardware management tool (Cisco UCS, Dell PowerEdge MX- preferably)
Good to have
- Basic knowledge of AWS
- Any one of the Scripting languages Bash/PowerShell/Python
- Basic understanding of automation tools
- Good to have familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and experience integrating on-premises and cloud solutions
Work Timings:
On-call shift: 7am to 3pm, 12pm to 8/9pm, working on Sundays on rotation basis (couple of hours), comp off given with on call + weekend allowances.
