Job Description
- We are seeking a collaborator with comprehensive expertise in DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) with exceptional aptitude for communication and collaboration with geographically dispersed, remote teams.
Work Profile
- Design implement and manage highly available and scalable public cloud environments in AWS, Azure, GCP with a focus on cost optimization, resilience, and compliance.
- Lead cloud migration strategies and modernize legacy systems using serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda) and cloud-native patterns (microservices, service mesh).
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD ) for seamless application delivery and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Drive automated incident response (e.g., OpsGenie integrations) and lead blameless postmortems to improve system reliability. Infrastructure as Code (IaC) & Kubernetes Manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS) with Helm, Crossplane, and service mesh (Istio/Linkerd).
- DevSecOps & Compliance Embed security into pipelines via SAST/DAST tools, secrets management (Vault), and zero-trust architectures.
- Champion SRE principles, automate and implement SLI/SLO/SLA and drive continuous improvement in system reliability, performance and scalability.
- Lead operation efficiency initiatives on automations used, observability and process optimization.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform, CFT and Crossplane ensuring reproducibility and compliance.
- Integrate and operate advance observability and monitoring solutions (NewRelic, Sumo Logic). Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize FinOps practices (cost monitoring, resource tagging).
Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- 8-10 years in DevOps/SRE roles, with 5+ years in leadership positions.
- 5+ years in a programming / scripting role (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Groovy, C#)
- Expertise in: Multi-cloud management (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
- Container orchestration (CKA/CKAD certified).
Preferred Bonuses
- Contributions to open-source DevOps tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform providers).
- Background in Chaos engineering, performance testing and disaster recovery planning.
- Experience with MLOps pipelines or edge computing infrastructures.
