Job Description
Job Title: SAP ABAP/HANA Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced SAP ABAP/HANA Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP ABAP development, combined with expertise in SAP HANA technology, including CDS Views, AMDP, and HANA modeling. This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing solutions to meet business requirements while ensuring system performance and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- SAP ABAP Development:
- Develop and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).
- Utilize ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OO ABAP) for complex business scenarios.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing ABAP programs.
- SAP HANA Development:
- Design and develop Core Data Services (CDS) Views, Calculation Views, and Analytical Queries.
- Implement ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) and SQL scripts for performance optimization.
- Collaborate with Basis and Functional teams to ensure smooth integration between HANA and other SAP modules.
- Integration and Interfaces:
- Develop and maintain SAP interfaces using IDOCs, RFC, BAPIs, and OData services.
- Integrate third-party applications with SAP systems.
- Performance Tuning:
- Optimize ABAP and HANA programs for high performance.
- Perform SQL and database performance analysis.
- Testing and Documentation:
- Conduct unit testing and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions and configurations.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Provide support for SAP systems during and after implementation.
Qualifications and Skills
- Educational Background:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP programming, including OO ABAP.
- Expertise in SAP HANA development (CDS Views, AMDP, HANA Studio).
- Familiarity with SAP Fiori/UI5 development and OData services is a plus.
- Experience with tools such as SAP Web IDE or Eclipse.
- Experience:
