Job Overview
We are seeking a Lead Engineer to oversee the development and implementation of software solutions while leading a team of engineers. This full-time position reports to the Engineering Manager and is available in a hybrid work model.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define project scope.
- Architect and develop robust applications using Java Spring Boot.
- Design user interfaces with Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Create and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL.
- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and evaluate their impact on development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure application stability.
Must-Have Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Lead Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java Spring Boot for backend development.
- Proficiency in at least one front-end framework (Vue.js, React, or Angular).
- Solid understanding of database concepts and experience with PostgreSQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
Good-to-Have Skills and Qualifications
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of software testing methodologies.
- Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
