Job Description
Diverse Lynx is looking for Cisco Networks to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey- The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Cisco-based network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability
- The Cisco Network Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the organization's networking needs and contribute to the overall success of IT initiatives
Responsibilities:
- Network Design and Implementation:Design and implement Cisco-based network solutions to meet business requirements.Configure and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and other Cisco network devices.
- Network Troubleshooting and Support:Provide advanced-level support for network-related issues, diagnosing and resolving complex problems.Collaborate with other IT teams to address network-related incidents.
- Security Integration:Integrate security controls within the Cisco network infrastructure.Implement and enforce security policies and best practices.
- Performance Monitoring:Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and identify areas for optimization.Conduct capacity planning to ensure the scalability of the network.
- Network Documentation:Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.Create network diagrams and documentation for reference and training purposes.
- Network Upgrades and Patching:Plan and execute network upgrades, including firmware updates and patches.Ensure that network devices are running the latest stable software versions.
- Collaboration:Collaborate with system administrators, security professionals, and other IT teams on projects and initiatives.Participate in cross-functional teams to address organizational goals.
- Vendor Management:Engage with Cisco and other vendors to stay updated on product releases, updates, and best practices.Coordinate with vendors for technical support and issue resolution.
- Training and Knowledge Transfer:Provide training and knowledge transfer to junior engineers and other IT staff.Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in networking.
