Your Role

• Architect, design and develop storage software for a converged computing and storage platform for the software-defined data center.
• Develop a deep understanding of complex distributed systems, and design innovative solutions for customer requirements.
• Work on performance, scaling out and resiliency of distributed storage systems.
• Work closely with development, test, documentation and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment.
• Engage with customers and support when needed to solve production issues.

What You Will Bring

• Experience in designing, building and supporting large-scale distributed systems software and fault-tolerant services.
• Excellent understanding of low-level operating system concepts, including multi-threading, concurrency, memory management, networking and storage, performance and scale.
• Strong systems programming skills
• Strong CS fundamentals include high-performance data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems.
• Love of programming and rock-solid in one or more languages: Go, C++, Python, ideally for enterprise-quality software.
• Development experience in distributed system management, Cloud native services, and orchestration engines.
• Experience with Linux OS internals, networking internals, software-defined networking technologies.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Envoy, Istio, a plus.
• Optional: Familiarity with any popular cloud platforms such as AWS/GCP and cloud architecture (multi-tenancy, IAM, components and abstractions, object store fundamentals, REST API development) preferred
• Bachelor s/Master s (required), or PhD (preferred) in Computer Science
• Exp: 2-3 Years

Work Arrangement

Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence. Additional team-specific guidance and norms will be provided by your manager.
