JOB DESCRIPTION/JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience: Overall 12+ years
Boomi scripting, Boomi Integration, API Management: 8+ Years

This position supports the ServiceKey application.

Proficiency in Boomi: Well-versed in Boomi, covering interface navigation, process building, data transformation, scripting, troubleshooting, connector configuration, and secure data practices.
Process Design: Deep understanding of process design in Boomi, including configuring different steps, using flow control (e.g., decision shapes, try/catch shapes), and handling error scenarios.
Data Mapping and Transformation: Solid understanding of relational databases, SQL, and database design principles. Proficient in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Performance tuning, data security, and familiarity with specific database systems are also important.
Boomi Scripting: Proficiency in custom scripting using Groovy and JavaScript is necessary for complex scenarios in Boomi. Custom scripting can be used for data transformations, API interactions, and executing advanced business logic.
Integrations: Knowledge of ticketing systems, ERP systems, and other relevant systems (e.g., BI, finance, document management) is required. Understanding their APIs, data formats, and protocols is crucial, along with comprehension of business processes and data quality requirements.
Error Handling: Competent in managing errors effectively, utilizing retry mechanisms, notifications, and recovery strategies. Diagnose and resolve issues using Boomi's logging and error reporting capabilities.
Process Deployment: Understanding Boomi's environment and deployment model is necessary for deploying processes from development to production. Managing deployment versions and employing environment-specific settings alterations is important.
Environment Management: Effectively use Boomi's multi-environment model and how to move processes and components between different environments. Managing environment-specific settings through "extensions" is crucial.
API Management: Understanding API protocols (e.g., REST, SOAP), HTTP methods, status codes, and message structures (JSON, XML) is fundamental. Interpret API documentation, handle authentication and security methods, and troubleshoot using API testing tools.
Security Practices: Familiarity with encryption techniques, secure data transmission, data at rest security, least privilege principle, authentication methods, API authorization, monitoring security incidents, and compliance with industry-specific security and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Immediate Joiners or who can join within 60 days are preferable.

Experience: 12+ Yrs
Shift: 4 PM to 2 AM IST
Skillset: Boomi scripting, Boomi Integration, API Management, REST, SOAP, SQL good to have, etc.
