Role Summary Business System Analyst with 10-12 years total exp to perform the following : Good understanding of insurance business Good Understanding if data and analytics (both logical and conceptual) Creating or maintain Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, and Data Mapping Document Should be innovative and be able to think out of the box and look at business impact and benefit. Requirements Elicitation, Analysis and Documentation , Gap Analysis & Functional Specification Document Ongoing support of business applications by problem analysis, resolution , reporting and escalation as required Ability to work with and guide technical people and also validate the work done by tech folks. Work closely with Business Users , Development , QA and Project Managers to ensure delivery of tasks /projects as per agreed measures of time, scope and quality Create the right KPIs and insights which help not just measure performance but also highlight areas of focus and improvement. Share Functional knowledge with rest of the team. Participate in conference calls and be able to communicate effectively Should be willing to provide on call support as and when required Should be able to control the Data Services Backlog (Report, Data Extraction, etc) Eligibility Minimum Qualification 10 12 years of Business System Analyst experience in IT 7 10 year hand-on experienced in Data Projects from gadering requirement, writing technical spects, mapping document, data cleaning rules, supporting UAT and Post Production. 5 7 year experienced in Scrum framework and waterfall processes Knowledge in Data Concepts such as Online Data Transactions, Operation Data Store, Data Lakes, Analytics Data Warehouse, Data Marts College graduate degree from reputed organization Good communication skills. Team Player Strong Analytical , Mathematical and logical capabilities Exposure to Customer Communication and Management Industry Experience 10 12 years of Overall IT experience including the experience of leading projects. Good understanding of Life Insurance Concepts; preferably LOMA certified Good understanding of Life Insurance products; hands on experience of Product setup preferred Should have good exposure on stakeolder management and customer communication. Should be able to empathise with partners, customers, and different functional teams Hands on working experience on Life Insurance systems
