Job Description
We are looking for a results-driven and customer-centric Expansion Sales Specialist to join our team. This role is focused on driving revenue growth through upselling (increasing usage or product tier) and cross-selling (introducing complementary products or services) to our existing customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SaaS sales cycles, customer relationship management, and consultative selling.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer portfolio
Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on customer usage patterns, pain points, and growth plans
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their evolving business needs
Develop and execute tailored expansion strategies for customer segments
Proactively suggest product enhancements or additional modules to improve customer ROI and satisfaction.
Present product features and benefits clearly, focusing on ROI and customer impact
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly expansion revenue targets
Track and manage pipeline using CRM tools (eg, Salesforce, HubSpot)
Use data and customer feedback to drive insights and improve sales strategies
Requirements:
2-5 years of experience in SaaS sales, account management
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Ability to make pitch track for multiple product lines
Mapping products / modules to customer needs and identify Opportunities to improve customer stickiness and improve user adoption
Strong consultative selling skills with an ability to tailor pitches to customer pain points
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in CRM systems and sales enablement tools - Salesforce
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to identify trends and opportunities
