5-9 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
Experience in Production support environments.
Understanding of Oracle database architecture (Single Instance, RAC, ASM) on Oracle 10g, 11gr1, 11gr2, and 12c.
Ability to define database standards and procedures for instance parameters, object sizing, storage, and naming.
Experience in defining procedures for install/upgrade, corporate database requirements, security, and automation.
Knowledge of all Oracle backup and recovery scenarios.
Live experience of Database Upgrade/Migration from multiple database versions and OS.
Ability to fix issues with RMAN.
Experience in patching Oracle Binaries and Databases.
Experience in supporting relational databases as a DBA with multiple distributed relational DBMS or a depth and focus in Oracle and related tools.
Willingness to provide off-hours support and maintenance as required, part of the 24x7 operations support on-call rotations (if required).
Scripting knowledge.
