Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining high-performing WordPress websites and applications. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end development within the WordPress ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Implement responsive designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs. Optimize websites for performance and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and debug WordPress websites. Work with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Follow best practices for WordPress development, including security and scalability.
- Collaborate with designers and other developers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Required Skills Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in WordPress development. Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Experience with various WordPress plugins and themes.
- Strong understanding of WordPress best practices and security considerations.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills.
