Troubleshooting & fixing production incidents

Managing & implementing monitoring solutions

Performing software deployments

Performing cloud- infrastructure maintenance & backups

Identifying opportunities to create custom scripts that reduce the need for human interaction

Working closely with the different stakeholders (Development/QA Teams, Customer Support Teams, Other DevOps Teams, etc . ) adhering to Agile methodologies

Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by your line manager/director on a permanent or temporary basis.

An enthusiastic approach to extending knowledge and learning new skills

Bachelor s degree or above in technology or computer science

5+ years of work experience in IT which includes the following:
> Supporting production applications (especially on a microservice environment)
> Managing Infrastructure in the AWS Cloud
> Experience working with Linux Systems
> Experience with or knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) & GIT
> Experience working with CI/CD Tools ( Jenkins or Spinnaker )

Willingness to work in Shifts on Weekdays (06 AM to 03 PM or 02 PM to 11 PM), to work with your Global Counterparts

Willingness to be available on- call for a week per month ( this is between 11- PM to 06- AM on a weekday and throughout the weekend ).

Professional Certifications

Working Knowledge on any of the following tools/technologies:
> Terraform
> Ansible
> Linux system administration
> Networking
> Spinnaker
